Reports carried by the Voice of America, VOA, indicate
that the Federal government is currently negotiating the release of the chibok
girls who were abducted in Bornu State 6 months ago. They were also said to be talking
on outright ceasefire by the insurgents.
The negotiation was confirmed to VOA by Ambassador
Hassan Tukur, the Principle Private Secretary to the President and Danladi
Ahmadu, a representative of Boko Haram.
