Still coming from the same Bauchi………35-year-old Sabo
Karua from Unguwan Dawaki Dass council of Bauchi State has been arrested by the
Bauchi Police for having intercourse with a 12-year-old hawker continuously
since 2012 and infecting her with HIV.
A deputy Superintendent of Police, Haruna Mohammed who
disclosed this yesterday said,
“When the victim began to show strange symptoms, she was taken to the hospital and was diagnosed HIV Positive.”
According to him, police’s preliminary investigation revealed
that the suspect took advantage of the girl, adding that the suspect would be
charged to court as soon as investigation was concluded.
